I don't get it

  After the Connecticut school shootings, liberals are on a new gun control kick. I don't understand how taking firearms away from law abiding citizens will make the public safer, but what I really need explained is this. If The Journal News of West Nyack, N.Y. believes firearms in the hands of law abiding citizens are so dangerous, why piss them off by publishing their names and addresses in your paper and then hosting this map on their web site?
  These are a few of the things I see resulting from this act; 1) You at the very least piss of the law abiding gun owner and maybe have a law suit filed against you. 2) You help out that same law abiding citizen by letting the criminals know not to rob those houses as the owners are armed.  3) You piss off the law abiding gun owners neighbor who does NOT own a firearm as they are now the criminals next target. 4) Now that the neighbor knows his house is marked as unarmed he now goes out to purchase a firearm so that he will be protected. 5) Now that he has a legally owned firearm you piss him off yet again by publishing his name and address as a gun owner on your updated maps.
 All of this naturally has several mixed results if you are the Journal News of Nyack, N.Y. 1) You boost gun sales. 2) Your news paper sales drop because you've pissed off a portion of your readers. 3) When the house next to the gun owners gets robbed because the criminal now knows that house owner is not armed you will get sued for informing the criminal that the house was an easy target. 4) Because of your new found paranoia that one of those law abiding citizens is now a threat to your safety, you have to spend more of your profits to hire ARMED security. Not to mention the fact that you now have all those guns legally carried by security on your business property making you that much LESS safe.
 

On My Mind Today

 Obama is TO BUSY to meet with Prime Minster of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, However, he made time to meet with a pirate for speak like a pirate day and to attend another fund raiser with Jay Zee and Beyonce and to go on Letterman. If I were Benjamin Netanyahu I would feel just a bit slighted.

Back to it!

Ok, I know I haven't posted anything in a number of months. I just haven't felt like it, but now it's time for me to get back at it. I'm gonna start up again in a day or two so welcome back to Backlash.

Really?

Ok, call me anything you want but I claim no particular political party. I do tend to vote republican, however, I just saw an interview with Republican John Flemming that set me to laughing my ass off. He actually claims that after taxes and paying 500 employees and rent on his buildings and food for his stores he only makes 600 thousand a year. What set me to LMAO was his next statement that after feeding his family he's only left with 400 thousand to buy new locations upgrade his locations and by new equipment. This to my knowledge does not include his 174 thousand dollar congressional salary. This means he spends 200k on food for his family a year. Where do I sign up for him to adopt me. I love the republican party but dude, My family lives on less than 40k a year, we pay for a house, a car groceries and all the stuff that makes our life comfortable on a fraction of what it takes to feed your family. Oh and BTW How farking big is your family. I have one thing to say to you, "Quit bitching because they want to raise the taxes on the rich. I'm on the verge of bankruptcy and you're whining because you have to live on (with your congressional salary) just under 800 thousand a year. Personally I think you assholes in the senate and congress should be paid minimum wage until you can figure out how to balance the F***ing budget. I wish I had the money to buy national advertiseing time I'd go on t.v. every day till the election telling the country to vote all you silly asses out of office and put in some real Americans that actually give a damn about the little people struggling to support themselves while you whining, crybaby, power hungry, egotistical panty wastes take our money to redistribute it to people to lazy to work, not to mention to pay your exhorbitant salaries. You want us to think you know whats best for us yet you can't balance a budget. The country is going bankrupt because you keep raising the debt ceiling without a budget, oh did I forget to mention you can't balance a budget? Lets inact the fair tax system and then everyone pays the same amount of taxes including the 14 million illegal aliens in this country and the tourists. I think if we added over 14 million tax payers the budget could then get balanced. Oh wait, i forgot, if that happened then the government wouldn't be able to control what we make, how we spend it or how much of it they get to keep for their next raise, sorry what the hell was I thinking.?

A new day in Government.

I wonder what would happen if the people of the United States of the Offended were to suddenly retake control pf our government. We could simply replace every incumbent senator and congressman in the next election. It would be a new day for our country. A good day or a bad would would yet to be determined but it really couldn't be any worse than what we have now could it?

Wonder how it would turn out?

You know, I think I'll find out if I can sue the government for infringing on my constitutional right to freedom of religion. I mean, telling someone you can't say the word God at a funeral in a cemetery or telling me I can't pray with like minded students at a school or other function denies me my rights to freedom of religion. If everyone would worry about themselves and quit worrying about what other people are doing you wouldn't get offended now would you? Do me a favor, worry about your own religion, or lack of one, and leave me to worry about mine. Mind your own business and quit minding mine, I don't answer to anyone but God and the law. If I offended anyone who reads this know that I do not apologize. I love my God and my country and I get ill when I'm told how I can and can not worship and even more ill when our soldiers sacrifice their life and have their funerals protested.. We are no longer the United States of America, as far as I'm concerned we are now known as "The United States of the Offended"

United States of the Offended

From this day forward I will no longer be calling our country the United States of America. I will from now on refer to our country by its new name, The United States of the Offended. I first heard this term used by Robert D. Raiford of the John Boy and Billy Big Show years ago. Now, after years of watching our rights slowly being taken away for fear of "Offending" some group or another, I have finally realized that we are a nation of people who are offended and outraged when somebody else doesn't think or believe the same way we do. Our government, right now is trying to curtail our rights to freedom of religion. They are so scared of offending non Christians and Muslims that they are trying to keep the Christians from praying or even speaking the name of God in public places. The only group of people the government does not seem to care about offending are the Christians, and yes, this offends me. There are other rights that the government and the lawmakers are trying to circumvent for fear of offending other groups but the one mentioned above is the one that first comes to mind because it is the most prevalent and the one that gets the most coverage in the media.
 I will be continuing this post and going into more detail about the other rights our leaders are trying to take from us in order not to offend the others of us, but for now it is late and I'm to tired to think any more.
